Mt Barker believe that humane, environmentally-friendly production produces healthier and better tasting chicken.

Mt Barker Free Range Chicken products use chicken from RSPCA Approved farms in WA. On these farms, chickens have space to move and access to the outdoors to explore the chicken play gyms and forage in the grass. At night chickens take shelter and protection inside a large barn where they can also perch and dustbathe.

As early adopters of the RSPCA’s standards, Mt Barker is proud to have been the first RSPCA Approved meat chicken producer in Australia.
