Foodbuy is the sole sourcing partner for their parent company, Compass Group Australia. They pride themselves on being the largest national foodservice and hospitality procurement and supply chain organisation in Australia. 

Foodbuy sources their fresh chicken from Australian RSPCA Approved farms. These farms take pride in raising their birds in an enriched barn environment that meets the RSPCA’s detailed animal welfare standard. Meat chickens enjoy more space to move, good lighting and can perch, dust bathe and forage – which ultimately leads to better health and welfare. These farms are assessed 2 – 4 times per year by specially trained RSPCA Assessors, and abattoirs are assessed annually as part of the program.
