6 menus we love that source humanely-farmed chicken

Chicken Dining out / 2nd Sep 2020

For many of us, wanting to choose products that have been farmed with consideration for animal welfare is a no-brainer. And when it comes to choosing humanely farmed chicken in the supermarket it’s never been easier. What’s even better for the conscious meat-eater though, is the growing number of restaurants that are proudly sourcing RSPCA Approved chicken.

Being RSPCA Approved means much more than a marketing term. RSPCA Approved farms must meet the RSPCA’s detailed animal welfare standards which focus on providing good welfare for chickens. Farms also undergo regular on farm assessments by RSPCA Assessors who check the standards are being met. The robustness of the RSPCA Approved standards and assessment process is why businesses like these are choosing to offer their customers RSPCA Approved. And it’s having a big impact on the welfare of Australian chickens. Millions of birds have a better quality of life because of these forward-thinking businesses and the customers that support them, and that’s certainly something you can feel really good about!

So, who’s on the list? You might’ve seen the RSPCA Approved logo on the menu at some of your favourite spots, but others might surprise you!
